The First Day of School

I wanted to take a better picture but I left nearly everything to the last minute and had to make do with an iPhone picture right before I walked out the door.

It was a surreal experience walking into the classroom, sitting and listening to class introductions and expectations. I’m pretty excited about this class and learning about Shakespeare. (It’s the literary analysis paper I’m not that excited about.)

As I sit here at the end of the day I understand why most graduate students take only 2 or 3 classes a semester.

While I’m not thrilled with the incredible amount of reading and work I’ll have to do, I’m excited to be taking this step. Now that classes have started, I’ve got to press forward and I can’t wait to see what is to be learned this semester.
